Log Browser: Add an option to switch on full history (--full-history)
Git, by default, performs a history simplification for showing the log of a specific path. This is great to show the commits required to reproduce the current state of a path, but is not necessarily helpful for tracking of who did what in a repository. Git offers the --full-history
switch for the git log
command for such purposes. There is no possibility in TortoiseGit to show the full history in the Log Browser so far.
I propose to add a checkbox "Show Full History" next to the other checkboxes ("Show Whole Project" and "All Branches") to the TortoiseGit Log Browser allowing users to switch the full Git history on or off.
