What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Plug any USB drive (with Git repo) into USB port. Windows recognizes it.
- Do any Git operation (e. g. pull).
- After done & close Windows Explorer, try to eject the drive (using standard tray icon).
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Windows cannot correctly eject USB drive. (When I kill TGitCache.exe manually from Windows Task Manager, USB drive is ejected correctly.)
What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
-- both Windows XP and W7 with newest SP
-- TortoiseGit 1.8.7.0 (also on older versions)
-- git version 1.8.3.msysgit.0
