TGitCache keeps crashing when I look at my folders or commit

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Clicking in my Git repo directory.
- Or when I try to commit.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- Clicking in my Git repo directory, I expect to just look at my file. But I see a screen flashing by saying "TGitCache64 has crashed". Then a crash server web page pops out says "Report uploaded". Report information says:

Dump 2244950 - When I commit, I get a message saying: "fatal: Out of memory? mmap failed: No error"
What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
I am using TortoiseGit 1.8.9.0 (64bit) and 1.9.4.msysgit.
Please provide any additional information below.
I have some large files in my folders. But they are not added to the repo. The largest file in the repo is only like 158MB.
