[Export selection to...] for non-ascii text file may ignore autocrlf=true
By route... on September 27, 2014 14:55 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Ensure autocrlf=true as systemwide gitconfig
- Commit sample English/Japanese text files in attached zip file
- [Show log]
- Select last commit
- Select all text files in Path pane
- Right-click the one of selected files and [Export selection to...]
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected:
All exported text files have CRLF eol (autocrlf=true converts LF to CRLF)
Instead:
English text files have CRLF eol (as expected)
Japanese text files have LF eol (autocrlf=true not affected)
What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
Windows Vista Business (Japanese)
TortoiseGit 1.8.11.0 (C:\Program Files\TortoiseGit\bin)
git version 1.9.4.msysgit.1 (C:\Program Files\Git\bin)
Please provide any additional information below.
On the one hand, [Export the version...] honors autocrlf=true for any text files.
