Log: filtering commits by file path does not work it direct slash is used as path separator
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Take (create or use existing) Git repo with at least one file located in folder.
Example: file b.txt located in folder a - Open TortoiseGit log for that repo
- Make sure that option "Paths" is enabled in Filter options on top of the window:
- Enter path to the file in the filter.
Example: "a/b.txt"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected result: log should show the commits containing the specified file.
Actual result: log is empty (some commits can be still shown indeed if the same path is mentioned in commit message).
What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system?
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Git version: 2.24.1.windows.2
TortoiseGit version:2.10.0.2 64-bit is the last version installed (latest one from official web site), alas I cannot be sure this is the version actually used because could not find indication of the program version in TortoiseGit GUI
